Climate Change and Critical Infrastructure
As cities prepare for more extreme weather events and shifts in climate, we need to also understand how to integrate our preparation efforts across communities, and what resources already exist to manage these changes. Transportation, housing, energy, emergency services, communications, waste/recycling, access to goods and services, and medical needs are among our first considerations. How can we plan together? DMO seeks to learn what we can share between state, federal, and municipal resources, as well as how local businesses and other partners can coordinate with government to develop stronger infrastructure and better climate management strategies.
